Meet the face behind Pure Azores
Hello Everyone!
My name is Miguel Soares. I started Pure Azores in 2015. Back then I was the only tour guide and also did everything else in the business.
My mission for Pure Azores has always been to create the most professional tour company in the Azores, with top-notch quality service. I am proud to have grown it now to a small business that ranks at the top of Tripadvisor on my island!
My biggest achievement is to have formed an amazing team of tour guides (see below), personally trained by me to do even a better job than I did! I now do mostly customer service such as answering your queries. I look forward to responding to one from you too!

We operate with 9-seater minibuses with small groups and maximum comfort!
Our vans are perfectly suited for a comfortable and safe ride throughout our day tours, always offering maximum quality.
They are very comfortable, equipped with individually adjustable air conditioning in the front and back and kept in excellent cleaning conditions.
For tours that go more off the beaten track, such as our “Fun Day” tours, we use vans equipped with off-road suspensions and wheels.
We can get to the most remote location on the island of São Miguel with complete reliability.
