Description
Spend a day exploring hidden gems of São Miguel island, away from the big crowds!
Start with a brief stop at a little-known geothermal area. Then walk along a water channel, until reaching a small dam surrounded by lush vegetation along the way!
The scenery then completely changes, as we go from the inner island to the outer coastline, arriving at a place full of interesting lava rock formations.
After a tasty buffet lunch in a local restaurant, continue with a magical garden with a little waterfall.
Next, enjoy a mesmerizing view from an old whale lookout at the top of high cliffs, overlooking the vivid blue ocean!
Visit one of the most charming fishing harbors of the island. Finish up with a short walk between a waterfall and the beach where it merges into the ocean!

Meeting Point
Pick-up is available from main hotels and designated meeting points in Ponta Delgada.
If you are staying outside Ponta Delgada, a transfer to our office can be arranged for an additional cost.
Please be ready at the front entrance by 9:00 am. Pick-ups may take up to 20 minutes to be completed
